My mind is a masochist that’s endlessly tearing me down.
I really enjoy having nonstop dreams where the girl I love is allowing herself to be sexually used by men and I can’t do a thing besides feel my heart shattering. Then I’m fired from my job for incompetence and placed under academic probation with no way to pay it off.
It’s such an amazing feeling in those few seconds when you wake up and believe what’s happened in your dream was real. Felt as close to being dead as possible. My heart still hurts.
The TMNT crew had a group show in the art gallery at Nickelodeon with a “girl” theme. I thought one of the girls looked familiar! Turns out it was a fan art piece by Adam Lucas, former storyboard revision artist on Korra, and current storyboard artist on TMNT. Based on the stairwell setting and her Naota-like boots, I like to think of this as a mash-up between FLCL and Korra, something I fully support. I’d like to see more of that mash-up!
Adam is the creator of the comic Goldilock. He moved out from Virginia to work on Korra, his first gig in animation.

You guys need to understand, I’m a TEAR-BENDER and drawing or thinking up dramatic ideas is what my mind does (specially for such an intense show like Korra). I promise I have super fun/light hearted Korra pictures and comics on the way!
